Laura

Hi, I’m Laura. Welcome to Purdy Good Eats! I’ve been a vegetarian for 15 years now, and after spending countless hours scouring veggie-friendly food blogs over the past few years, I finally decided to start my own. Although I grew up helping out in the kitchen, my true passion for cooking didn’t develop until college when I lost the luxury of having my meals prepared by mom. I have a particularly strong interest in nutrition, and while not all recipes I post will guarantee a petite waistline, I’m determined to live a healthy life while focusing on wholesome foods and enjoying everything in moderation. My goal with this blog is not to preach about vegetarianism but rather to share some of my favorite recipes and tasty discoveries with family and friends (and hopefully show some that non-meat eaters do enjoy food)! Thanks for stopping by!
